Since Christmas, we have talked a lot about how we are in an Act 1 period of waiting. We have spent so much time in lockdown, and with the cold weather, our options for gathering and doing in-person ministry have been limiting. However, during this time we have been praying and preparing for what God has planned for us in the future. Well, the wait is almost over!

This Sunday, we begin a brand new sermon series called Powerhouse as we study Acts 1 and 2. Jesus tells his disciples to wait in Jerusalem until he sends POWER down from heaven. That power is the Holy Spirit.

With this power, this small church turns into a worldwide wave of seeing the gospel of Jesus transform lives. The Spirit works through this small community of believers as they utilize homes and the limited resources they have.

We will be reminded that our strength does not come from numbers or resources, but from the power of God that He has given to His church.
